Osnovana 1996. godine u Novom Sadu, VIDEOMEDEJA je međunarodni festival posvećen video umetnosti i novim medijima kao prostorima kritičkog mišljenja, eksperimenta i umetničke slobode.

Festival okuplja umetničke prakse koje preispituju dominantne narative, brišu granice između medija i žanrova i istražuju hibridne, eksperimentalne i nekonvencionalne forme izraza.

Festival podstiče radove koji nastaju iz istraživanja, procesa i rizika, sa fokusom na inovativni i eksperimentalni karakter umetničkih praksi, a ne na njihovu produkcijsku uglađenost.

VIDEOMEDEJA je platforma alternativnih perspektiva, drugačijih percepcija i umetničkih pristupa koji reflektuju, reinterpretiraju i dovode u pitanje savremenu stvarnost.
